One in three families in cancer treatment cannot meet their basic needs. While parents and siblings do everything they can to support their child, they often need our help. JUST TRYAN IT alleviates the financial stress that comes with having a child in active cancer treatment. Your gift enables families to pay their bills, put food on the table, and focus on what truly matters—their child's health and well-being. Together, we can make a difference in their lives during this challenging time.
Your contribution relieves the financial burden families face after a childhood cancer diagnosis.
$250 - Purchases two weeks of healthy food for a patient and their family.
$500 - Pays a family's cell phone and electric bill for one month.
$1,603 - Provides one family with an Emergency Assistance grant to meet their basic needs.
$2,500 - Secures two months of housing for a family.
$5,000 - Gives one Deep Needs grant to a family, supporting three months of living expenses.
Xanai is a 10-year-old diagnosed with a rare bone cancer who is currently receiving chemotherapy at UNC Cancer Center. Xanai's motivation to fight comes from her close family, who is navigating a new normal. Her charismatic spirit, jokes, love for music and cats keep her and those around her encouraged.
